I saw a total of 3 deer yesterday, and that was while I was walking in. They were in the corn field on the neighbors property. This morning I didn't see any. And so far today I haven't seen any. Monday was awesome until the basket 6 hit the dirt. Tuesday was slow. Wednesday there was a tornado in both places I hunt an hour and 10 minutes apart. What are the odds of that, Thursday was gale force winds and yesterday and today have been painfully slow. Oh well. Got til Jan 7th at least.
Ours has been all over the place. We hunt at our farm and not see 2 f deer. I hunt at my in-laws and there are deer everywhere. I'm not sure if it is all over here or just getting started.
Have a friend in Ames said he saw some good size bucks just not with in range. Not sure how to spell the town.
