Fastest taxidermy turn around ever

    Shot this guy on Oct 4th...dropped him off at the taxidermist Oct 6th...picked him up today!!!

    It is my first deer mount and I'm incredibly happy with it....wanted to share....hope you enjoy

    That is fast he must tan his own, congrats on the buck.

    Beautiful buck, and beautiful mount. I shot 2 last October in texas, and I still haven't gotten them back. He just ordered the forms.

    Geez. I waited 14 mo for my last mount. It was worth it though. Very nice mount by the way.

    Nice mount and great turnaround time. I have that beat, though. My taxidermist does his own tanning and he is really fast. I shot a buck in Montana on September 3, took it to the taxidermist here in Minnesota on September 6. On September 17 he called me and told me it was done. 11 days. I have had him do a lot of stuff and even during the busy times his turnaround is never more than 4 months, even when he has to ship hides out to tan (like bears, he doesn't tan them himself).

    645 as is....he charges 525 without habitat....no cost for expediting....he does everything in house so its a lot faster and I was his first drop off of the year is all

    Thanks for the kind words gentleman....I love how the memories come flying back when I look at all my different mounts....they are worth every penny to me

    Awesome! I'm My guy does the same; all work is done in-house, average turn around time is 5-6 weeks (if dropped off before gun season) @ a base price of $450. Should get mine back by Christmas.
