Quick math, I came up with 140s. And I'm with Ty on this one...put him down so we can find out for certain.
I think 150's+ as well. Looks a lot like my '11 buck. Holds his mass well, a bit wider and has good tine length.
I'm with Covey on this. Tine length is the "what if" on this one. If they are pushing 12" then I'd say he is in the 165+ range.
For being a little short on width, he has a "perfect storm" going on everywhere else to boost his score I think. Mass, brow and tine length, long main beams and decent width. Width is just one score but main beam length where they curl around like that and mass measurements add up fast, easy to underestimate based on comparing deer with similar frames that don't have those advantages.
152 4/8' he falters on mass,I only give him 16 a side for mass, where he makes up on is rightmain beam ,I give him 25 , inside spread is not much either ,17 ,he looks to be between the ears ,ear tip to ear tip is close to 18 , give or take. left beam is smaller at 20 ,awesome deer though. Rocky
I don't think tines are 12"+ Here's the buck I was comparing to, using the base of the beam point mine had near 8 and 7 x/8 G1's. I scored it at 14x'ish missing an H4
CLS that's a great buck! But those two deer aren't in the same zip code IMO. I don't see 140s on yours (you get an H4 measurement no matter what). Maybe you meant G4? The first deer will make 160 (probably easily) and those tines are all over 12". He's an absolute stud. I think the zoomed in picture might be playing tricks on some Once again, just my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
