Hey guys just wanted to come on here and say that the acorns are the ticket in central Minnesota this year. We have bean fields on both of our properties and what the deer are doing is going into the oaks and feeding on acorns while its still light, and you'll see once its dark enough they all b line straight for the fields, its been really cool to be able to watch so many deer just cover the ground under some of the bigger, acorn producing trees. They have been talking about it on the show, and ill tell you, they're right.
Great intel - I think the wet spring really helped the acorn crop this year. I wonder when the acorns will run out.
I'm with Sota: all of our acorns have been picked clean (not that I hunt on a piece of property that could support a long-term buffet of acorns). I have been on business out in Philly for about two weeks now, but during that time, my cousin has been reporting corn and bean field feeding as the main dinner entree for our deer.
In Massachusetts I've never seen so many acorns. Walking around we are constantly tripping on them. Pretty crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
