I know I don't post much here anymore. Been busy with a FB page. But many have been following my son's bow kills over the years from his first at 11 years old. He's now 17 and took his nicest to date this past weekend.

We had to make some decisions. Crops are still in on the whole farm and we really haven't been seeing anything elsewhere on the farm. So we decided to hunt the other side which is nothing more than hay fields. But deer use this side of the farm as their living room. There is a stand I put right on one of the fields years ago that I was going to use, which my son said he wanted to hint, so I let him and that was the result, and I couldn't be happier.

You can see how overgrown this field is by the following picture and why we were reluctant to hunt over it.

Wow, how grown up is he. Literally seems like yesterday there was a chubby faced kid behind those deer. Congrats!

It's great to see a father passing on a love of the outdoors to his son. Congratulations to both of you! I'm guessing he will do the same for his son someday.

Awesome! Congrats to you both. Hard to believe how grown up he is. I remember the pictures of him shooting with you as a young boy. Time flies.
