Had this buck on my game cam somewhere around January 15th. Had him patterned pretty good. I hunted him a day before the video was taken and a day after. Didn't hunt on the day the video was taken because i was too lazy.
So... How old do you think this buck in the video is?

Judging just from what I can see from the view in the video I would say 3 yr old his stomach and chest are almost even he doesn't have the brisket like I normally see in 4 to 5 yr olds this is just a guess. Do you have any other shots? And he's gonna be a great buck this year I bet.

seeing that you are from Alabama I would say 4yr old maybe 5. if it was Kansas or Illinois or any other Midwest state I would say younger than 4. he has great beam length but just looks run down from the rut. kill him this year and we'll subtract 1 yr then we will know for sure. good luck with him this year!!

I think he's mature, deer don't get main beams that long younger than 4-1/2 no matter what the body looks like.

LOL OK.... I have seen 2.5yr olds with MB's that long.... That being said they usually carry little to no mass.
    OP I'd say 3

I'd say 2.5 yr old. We have bucks that are 2.5 by us that sometimes have a rack like that at 2.5. They just typically have no mass like this one. Once they hit 3.5 then they can really start getting the mass and body size defiantely shows an increase. This is not always, but from what I have seen here in Wisconsin that usually is the case. Food also plays a big factor in it as well.

3 at most. He should bulk up this year if he's still alive.

I went shed hunting last night and found some huuge rubs. I hope he is the one that made them. All of my hunting buddies say it's a huge and mature deer. He will probably be my #1 Hitlister next year if he is still alive.

And I think that deer is also very big for my area, most of the big bucks shot here will score about 110-120. He is also the biggest buck I have ever seen on my game cameras.
