After spending my first ten years of bow hunting with a PSE Deer Hunter I picked up my new bow last Wednesday. I had a budget of $800. I ended up with a Hoyt Charger at 70# with a 27.5" draw. It is a considerable upgrade over what I have been shooting. Instead of going with the standard fuse accessory package I opted to keep the Whisker Biscuit and upgrade the sight to a Black Gold Ambush Ascent single-pin adjustable. I tried several other bows in my price range and felt like the Charger was the best shooting experience. I forgot to put the stabilizer on for the pictures. I have to remove it in order to fit the bow into my case. I am hoping to take my first elk and maybe a moose with it this fall. Time to get practicing.
Congrats! I sell a lot of Chargers at my shop. It is a fantastic bow for the money! Have fun shooting it and good luck on your next bow hunting adventure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats on a great new bow!! Cant wait to see you with pics of an animal behind it!! especially that elk you want, best of luck with it!!
Hey same bow and draw weight/length. Its a sweet shooter! I replaced the stock fuse strings on it pretty quick with some 60x Custom Strings in BCY X, they don't fray nearly as easily as the fuse which I believe were BCY 452
nice I was going to buy one but I saw the last rampage xt in the shop and have wanted it for two years so I had to get it but I like the charger too almost bought one myself
