Thought this would be an interesting question. Is there any gear out there that you though was overpriced, but for whatever reason, you ended up buying it anyways and now you absolutely love it?

For me, the Lone Wolf Assault and sticks have been worth every penny. I thought they were ridiculously overpriced, but after a lot of research ended up pulling the trigger. They've been worth every penny and I recommend them to friends.

For a non hunting purchase, I love my Weathertech floor mats. Just took them out this afternoon after a brutal winter to wash them. They had ice crystals forming in them and were absolutely filthy, but my carpet was as good as new.

Any items that you've bought that have been worth the premium price tag?

I couldn't have said it better myself. I agree on both. Live my LW's and love my Weathertech's

My Hoyt Vectrix and both of my LW stands were my best pricey purchases. I've gotten 13 years from my stands and 7 from my bow so far. If something isn't broken, I don't fix it. lol

Gotta love the lone wolfs. Its also really useful on public land especially 4 climbing sticks. I too strongly recomend it for every midwestern bowhunters and gun muzzleloader folks that hunt public land

Millenium G100 Groundblind chair. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Hands down the Most Comfortable Groundblind chair made. Only weighs 7.5 lbs and packs into hardly nothing. I got mine for $180 and I would buy it again without hesitation.

I can't tell you how many times I've had it on my screen and just haven't hit purchase. I want to buy one but 180 for a chair seems a lot. Would you possibly mind PMing me the reasons its so good so I can have a reason to explain to the lady why I spent that much on a chair?

I didn't start using treestands until 2003, before that I was strictly a ground hunter. Between summer 2003 and Spring 2009 I had about 6 different climbers. I didn't want to spend the money on a Lonewolf so I kept buying, trying, and selling stands. I finally broke down and bought a Lonewolf handclimber in 2009 and I have used it ever since. Last year I added an Assault and sticks. They really are worth the money to me.

You guys buy the weather tech mats or the floor liners? Looked at them in the past and I wasn't sure what was better.
