So to make a long story short the wife had a mishap with her new both lst night. I think she didn't have the arrow fully nocked and when she shot she essentially dry fired the bow. Arrow went about 10 yds and bow came apart. I checked things over and other than peep and cable slide blowing out everything looked good. So took it down to my buddies shop ( he wasn't there) so one of his "techs" took it in back to check it out. I followed him back and he barked at me telling me I had to wait out front. Since my buddy wasn't there I obliged. He brings the bow back out put together wrong, the limbs were not even seated properly. lol So this time I GO BACK and show him how to do it correctly. Tied in the peep and laughed as I told him thanks for the help...lol SHEESH I really gotta get my own press!!!!

    RANT OVER

This is the reason I bought an EZ Green press. Some shops have great techs, but some seem like they hire anybody who needs a job.

I'd much rather do my own work and then I don't have anybody to blame but myself lol.

Luckily shop I go to has real good guys that work on stuff so I don't run into that problem, but that's pretty bad ha.

Same here. I gave up long ago on people doing things the correct way. I mean you do find some good shops out there but when you do you generally have to wait a bit. I hate waiting so the only option is do it myself. :tu:

I feel ya, that's why I quit using "pro" shops a long time ago. The EZ is a great press... Will be worth every penny......
