    While out shed hunting today Tammy came across this. I wasn't able here I the area so I didn't get to check it out. Not sure if it's a mineral pile of what. Any thoughts?

    looks like a cheap mineral block that got destroyed by the rain and has been there for a while.

    I agree with CoveyMaster it looks like Buckbran. I tried Buck Grub which was similar in Virginia and the only thing that ate it was possums and coons. Deer would walk right by it.

    Well this property has several hunters on it so doubt trespasser. Problem is in IL baiting is illegal and a few have had problems with dnr for that on this property in the past.

    The amount of guys in IL who bait and/or put out minerals is a lot greater than people think. Heck - open up the IL Outdoor news and there's a few cases in the Cuffs & Collars section each month. And that's just the ones that get caught!

    We were out walking our new lease yesterday and found a mineral site 20 yards from someone's ladder stand. Go figure.

    BAIT in nh you need a permit but a lot just put out bait most do not know the law they see it in Walmart and think it is ok to use
