Went ahead and got my bow for the 2015 season. After shooting a 2014 Obsession Evolution this past season, I decided to stick to the model and upgrade to the 2015 model, but this year I went with 80lb limbs. Went up to Shooters Archery in Virginia to get it all setup, and WOW! I couldn't get over how smooth this bow was to draw and how dead in hand it was at the shot! I honestly couldn't feel a difference between the 70lb Evolution I shot last year and the 80lb draw this year. No hump, just a smooth pull all the way into the backwall. At the shot the bow was just as dead in hand as you would want it to be and whisper quiet. I was honestly expecting a little vibe and it to be louder because of the 80lb limbs, but absolutely nothing! Couldn't be any happier with it!
Here is the rundown of the specs:
    DL: 30"
    Limbs: 80#
Arrow: Black Eagle Rampage 250spine 505gr (75gr brass insert up front)
    KE: 110
    FPS: 306
    FOC: 14.4

    Looking sharp. :tu:

Pushing a 500+ grain arrow at 300+ fps is impressive. You plan on blowing through a pair of rhinos standing next to each other? :D

I've seen a penetration test recently on a #80lb bow shooting a 600+ grain arrow into a Hippo and the penetration was hardly 2 inches. Scary!

Don't take this the wrong way for I am just curious. Is there any particular reason you want to shoot 80 lbs? It is a really sweet looking bow btw.

Awesome bow! Congrats! I'm sticking with my Hoyt CST from last year because it has the 80 lb limbs and getting similar speeds.

Hahaa indeed they do, but my guy Jeff at Shooters Archery is the only one I trust to setup my bows, guy is a wizard....not literally, although his beard pushed wizard lengths during the season haha, but a great guy to work with and wont let you leave until everything is perfect!

Copperhead, keep an eye on our YouTube and Facebook page throughout the summer, we will be doing some field to table videos focusing on different ways to prepare wild game. We are currently working on a recipe for that big ol 300lb hog I killed in January. We got a brine done for it and itll marinate the next 4 days before slow cooking it. But we have a couple different episodes we will be putting together this summer in relation to the best part of hunting.......the eating! haha Thanks for the support!
