Just bought my first bow! I still need to set my pins after 20 but I am so excited to finally get into hunting! Born and raised in Colorado, but now live in Ohio. any advice is much appreciated. i bought a Hoyt Faktor 30 so I can tree hunt and blind hunt with ease (hopefully)

    Good looking bow, congrats!

My advice is concentrate on good practice and less on thinking you need the latest and greatest, which many new bowhunters make the mistake of doing. Good solid form and consistent practice will make you a better shot faster than swapping out sights or rests trying to tighten your groups.

Wow, heck of a bow for a beginner, kudos :) First, welcome to the site, you will learn a lot from these guys. Second, be prepared for your girlfriend/wife to get mad at you for always being on BH.com or in the woods. Third, it's worth it :) Glad you're here

The first bow that came to mind was the Hoyt Carbon Spyder LD. Also, I'm sorry if anybody thought it was inappropriate of me to answer Sky7822's query.
