i want to see who everybody likes the most. and what show is the most watched, who thinks what about who. people talk crap about brackette but to me he is very down to earth. i met him a few times working different expos and he is a cool guy to kick it with
I have met ,hung out and hunted with a few one my favorites of those is Ken Cobb of Huntin the world southern style he is a cool guy in fact his whole crew seem to be good guys....... My all time favorite but no longer has a show is Ronnie Smith of Ronnie smith outdoor adventures, he is as down to earth and as real as they come. I hunted with him a few times in BAMA on his lease back when he was still doing his show and had a hunting forum, he invited several of the forum members to come hunt with him a few times it was a blast.. I few others I have met come across as very arrogant and full of themselves I have never met Chris Brackett but he is the one via his show that got me to look into Martin bows again and glad he did..
kinda in the same boat now we cut our cable to bare min which mean no outdoor shows.. I do watch a few on roku though.
None of the hunting networks rank in the top 200 network wise. Reruns of Honey BoBo draws more viewers than even the most popular hunting show. Kind of a shame my wifes dog loved the hunting shows she would only growl and bark when the big buck showed up on the TV.
Of all the shows I watch I like the guys of Bowhunt Or Die the best, even tho they aren't really celebrities Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk 2
I second that, Growing Deer TV is a great show to watch as well and I feel I have learned so much from watching him and reading about his philosophy on deer management
Bill Winke. real solid guy. good family man,and just seems to be a nice overall fella. and if anyone mentions the Nikon blonde...................
Growing deer tv dr. Grant woods seems very down to earth an gives a lot of good info I also like how he talks about Jesus on the show
Not a celebrity per say, but Mel Johnson used to come down and turkey hunt at our house when I was kid. He got to know my dad through his work with DNR and they became friends. I never really did realize how big or famous his buck was until I saw his picture in a magazine. He also was working the gun check station in my county when I brought in my first deer in 14 years ago. Used to be able to have some fun to have someone walk in and say they think they broke the state record. For guys on TV, I'd want to hunt with Steven Rinella from Meat Eater, Remi Warren of Solo Hunter, or Donnie Vincent.
