Just wondering how many of yall on here have more than one bow and why? I'm thinking about buying another just for target shooting with the shooting ministry i'm over and having my carbon element for hunting. Also i'm thinking it may always be good to have a back up bow on hand at all times. Whats your thoughts?

I'm looking to buy a Hoyt Faktor, and I'll have a total of 4 bows. One of them is an old Bear Whitetail II, the other a PSE Nova, and my current bow is a PSE Stinger 3G. I have never spent a lot of money on a bow, but now with the opportunity to hunt Elk, and a better paying job, I'm looking to buy my 4th bow. The reason I kept all my old bows is because, well, I'm kinda attached to them. I killed my first deer with an old bow that ended up getting stolen, and so my dad gave me his Whitetail II. I've killed a few deer with it, and it was also the first bow I killed a buck with. The PSE Nova was the first bow I ever tagged out with, and I'm going to keep my PSE Stinger 3G so my wife has something to shoot.

I own 2 right now after selling my Switchback XT yesterday. It seems like I never shoot my "backup bows", they just sit around collecting dust. I may be selling my Carbon Spyder 34 when my Xcentric 7 gets here!

I still have my old Bear youth bows I started out with as a kid, a 25# and a 35# and then a Bear whitetail bow that was dad's along with a couple of old Pearson recurves and a Bear recurve. Then I have a 2001 Hoyt ultra-mag and a 2013 Hoyt Carbon Element.
    So, 8 total.
I don't think any one of the recurves is shootable any longer though. Only three of the 8 are still shootable.

    I've got 3 right now:

    Mathews Z7X
    Mathews ChillR
Hoyt Carbon Syder Turbo (last years model)

I'm thinking of selling the ChillR to get something else, most like the Hoyt Nitrum Turbo. Can't really decide but I really like the ChillR so good chance it will stay unless I get top dollar for it. It's all decked out and pretty awesome, rather keep it but Mrs would kick my tail.

No, but that's on purpose. I don't smoke, I don't drink, don't put anything in front of faith & family.... But DO NOT put a awesome new bow in my hand and expect me to not figure out a way to buy it. I've chosen to eliminate that temptation until the funds are available :-)

All joking aside, I'm going to shoot one this coming week to check it out. You're right I've heard nothing but good things, but going to be hard to beat that Hoyt CST from last year.

Too many by my family's standards - total of 3 right now with one on the way. I too, like to have a back up bow. I may sell some of my others later on to help clean out the closet, but right now they are still just too new.

Hoyt: Vector 32, Spyder 30, Carbon Spyder 30
    Mathews: No Cam HTR

With 3 shooters in the house...We have accumulated a few. 2 browning micro midas. 1 PSE fireflight. 1 Mathews featherlite. 2 Mathews DXT's 1 Mathews Creed XS....for a total of 7. My wife doesn't take much notice, because of the 32 fishing rods hanging from the basement ceiling.
