I shoot a mission riot at a 26 inch draw at 55 pounds. I'm not sure which arrow to get and how many grains it should weigh with a 100 grain tip???? Right now I shoot a Easton nemesis that weighs 382 grains. Is that too heavy for 55 pounds? Thanks!

You are good with 382 I would even consider going heavier.

Why would you go heavier? I'm new to bowhunting and all the arrow stuff

Makes for a quieter bow and more momentum

I shoot a 366 grain at 70lbs and its as quiet as any. Shooting a Mathews Heli m at 29 inch draw. Shooting 319 fps. Rule of thumb has been 5 grains for every lb of draw weight so a min for me would be a 350 grain arrow.

When I started I shot 55 lbs and 26.5". I started shooting a 325 grain arrow, I've moved up to 62 lbs but moved up to 405 grains as well, lost some speed but even at 233 fps (chrono'd) I've never had an arrow not pass through with the heavier arrow. Forget the speed, KE kills.

I shoot 450grains at 54 lb and am probably going to move up to 500 grains via Slick Trick 175s or Dirt Naps 175 next year. I am shooting a 32" draw though so I can get away with a lot more.
