I pull about 55 pounds. I want a broahead that truly flys like a field point. I like the dead ringer rampage and people say they fly like field points. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Will they work correctly shooting only at 55 pounds?

If your bow is tuned well, youll have a harder time finding one that wont work for you. Smaller diameter fixed blade heads tend to be the most forgiving, other then expandable heads. But I am not a big fan of expandables, more a personal choice though then anything.

Fixed blades. If you really want mechanical, rage has one for lower draw weights

I've never had a problem shooting any fixed head like my field points out of a properly tuned bow.

I'm using 125 gr. G5 Strikers right now, but wouldn't hesitate to use a Slick Trick.

Rage chisel 3 blades will do for low poundage bow.

Any mechanical at his specifications would be a horrible idea.

theres a difference with peircing meat tissue and peircing through a steel drum can. Youre shooting at an animal not a terminator. If you arrow it in the lungs. its a dead animal. Kandi kiski from whitetail freaks killed a big deer with a rage 2 blade.

Never said he needed to shoot through steel drums. But he will get better penetration from fixed heads.

The dead ringer is a great head from everything I have read.
I shoot a 100gr swhacker and they fly great in the most recent past I shot a muzzy 100gr and they flew as close to field poins as anything else I shot..

tried to get a little more info on the 3 blade freak nasty dead ringer on here the other day and all I got was suggestions on other heads, but that is the nature of forums..

Shoot the dead ringer I think you will like them, and if you want a celebrity endorsement ..The Kisky's shoot them..lol

FYI... my wife shoot 40# and shoots the 75gr 3bld muzzy and they fly great out of her bow.

    Good luck....

    X2.

I hate mechanicals because of the people that screw them on without regards to what is best for their setup, not because of the heads themselves. After all X and Y "celebrities" on the Outdoor Channel killed one using something they are paid to have. I mean it's like throwing an axe threw an animal, who needs any momentum or KE to make it happen!

The majority of failed mechanical incidents you read are the result of it being fired out of an underpowered bow with a light arrow. Mostly due to a lack of research or making up for incorrect tuning to get "field point accuracy".
