Wife first Buck!!

    Well my wife got it done this week, this was the only deer we seen the 7 days we hunted. She double lunged him and he still went 75-80 yards. Only has 5pts but aged him at 4 years old and weighted him at 165lbs. We both were excited none the less lol. He came in looking for does in the food plot and stayed 5sec. to long as she put a good fast shot on him. His rack isnt much but he was a mature deer and a good one to take off the property.     BTW my wife is 26 weeks prego with our 2nd son and i only let her hunt from the ground while shes prego and she got it done. In Oct she got in some ladder stands but once it got cold and the snakes went away the ground became her firend lol needless to say i'm very proud of her.

    my wife killed her first two doe's by herself out of a ground blind, we were about a half a mile apart..I get a text "I just shot a deer", before I could get done dancing in my tree stand she sent me another text.."I just shot another".. I was with her this year when she shot her first with a rifle, it was awesome..

    I love that my wife hunts with me, this was her 3rd year..She is the best hunting partner I have ever had...

    Amen to that...i've always enoughed hunting with family. Its awesome we get to hunt together and spend time at our camp, bring the kids. My mom or her mom will come to babysit with we go hunting. Truly am blessed to share what we love to do together. I cant wait till my boys get older and i can take them.

    Congrats to your wife! I got mine to join me this year on a two person stand that I put up for us. Thats a start and good enough for now, I'm in no hurry :)
