    Hey guys,

Has anybody tried the Havalon Bone Saw? I love their knifes but debating between their bone saw or the Wicked bone saw. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Use a knife in the joints. Much faster and easier than a bone saw. Takes a few times to figure it out but definitely much easier. Haven't used my bone saw in years. Don't know if I could even find it now.

Havalon makes good products however I'd go with the Wicked over the Havalon Bone Saw. It just looks more stout and that is what I need in a bone saw.

If you want the best knife on the market, try a Fieldtorq. I bought one this year and let me tell you it makes very short work of splitting pelvic and sternum bones. This knife has made pelvic saws obsolete....and it is made of very high quality steel. This knife alone can field dress any animal.

Looks very cool. I sure would like this if it said: MADE IN USA.

I am not sure why anyone needs a saw to bone and pack out any animal
...just something extra to carry ...and when I am boning and packing out heavy extra crap isn't what I want.
