Back in October I was lucky enough to take my first ever public land buck on my first ever public land hunt. Everything came together perfectly from scouting the day before to setting up and having a great buck present me with great video and a great shot opportunity. Here's my video of that hunt. Let me know what you think. Also, if you like it, give my a like on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wide-Angle-Whitetail/601909776597886?ref=hl
Nice deer, great video. Thanks for sharing. These self filmed hunts are making up for no BHOD this week
Actually, he came over after shooting light. He was curious to see what I shot. He actually stuck around and helped trail blood. Come to find out, he's the new area land manager on that piece of conservation land. He said he had been hunting that spot since September and had not seen anything bigger that this one. Even on his trail cams. Never had him on camera either. I was sure to let him know that I hadn't seen his stand while scouting or I wouldn't not have set up there.
