I was thinking I might want to get a new bow, I shoot a bowtech 340 destroyer now but was considering getting the 360. I went to the local dealer and they has some with a DW of 75# is that standard or a hot bow? Hard to pay that kind of money for less than 20 fps because I use a heavier arrow. Any 360 owners have feedback?

Not knocking Bowtech by any means. I had a D350 myself. In a chrono, the two I have seen with my own eyes with a 70lb. 30" DL, 350 gr. arrow. was really more like 349-351 fps. I think if you only buy it cause of more speed. Keep you D-340. Not a bashing post at all...so don't take it like that. My D-350 shoot the same speed as the RPM 360 did.

I might know where you can get a good deal. Let me do some checking.

I looked and the newest thing BT offers still has the binary cams so nothing offered is an upgrade, unless the price is right.

I shoot a BT invasion and love it! In my opinion is a good step up from the destroyer but you have to be willing to pay the price, the destroyer is an amazing bow though

I know I love my destroyer it is a quiet hard hitting machine, I may still wait another year or 2.

I have a 360 but I shoot lighter weight (58#). I think it is an excellent bow and honestly think I draws smoother than my Experience did.

I don't care about a smooth draw a nice valley or any of that crap, I like to grip it and rip it and hit hard as possible. heck I don't even care about what the bow looks like I just more poundage and more speed to send a 450 grain arrow as fast as possible.

The hardest hitting bow I have ever owned was a Destroyer 350. That think would crush a shoulder even at 26.5 inches in draw length. If you don't care about the draw or valley you might want to look at the PSE Omen or Full Throttle. The RPM360 I shot drew very smooth but the speeds on that particular bow at 26.5 did not indicate it would make the IBO rating. Still shot like a dream but I choose the Elite Energy 32 instead.

Good luck an let us know what you decide.

Yeah, My D-350 was a hard hitter, but you are correct. That new PSE Full Throttle is a beast for sure. I've only shot it a dozen or so times....WOW! Thats all I can say! The draw is much better on the FT than the older Omen's though.

I refuse to follow, sticking with BT, had a PSE in the past, and Mathews is too slow.

I will shoot one and see, I like raw power. I want an 80 pound draw the 360's I looked at were 75# DW, I know it isn't needed but if the shot goes wrong nice to know you have the KE to break bones if needed.

If that's what your looking for I honestly think you will like it. For a true speed bow, it actually wasn't bad at all.

Yes it would....lol. The FT is not as bad. It's actually a good shooting bow.

Also if you want to stick with Bowtech you might be able to get an Insanity CPX with 80# limbs. That bow would smoke an arrow too.

I have had that problem before as well. The dealer I liked did not carry the bow brand I wanted. Generally what I did was buy the bow bare and then buy all the accessories from the preferred dealer. Unfortunately due to the economy he had to close his shop so I now do everything myself. Everyone else seems to half way do things. Ugh.

I try to support the local bowshop when ever possible, the guy is great and if I tried to learn bow shooting on my own I may have given up in frustration years back.
