OK guys have a Easton fmj. I like them . Just don't like the bending part. Looking at carbon express pile drivers extreme pass through blood sport impact or Easton infusion. But I think the east on are to much $ for me. I'm shooting 70 lbs at 27 in draw. Broadhead are toxic I used to use the kill zone Maxx but had two this year that did not pass through and I don't like that. My arrows now go 450 and with the new ones will got 420 ish. I know I'm nit picking lol. How's the durability of the carbon arrows. And looking to stay under 120 a dozen.

I shot Easton Epic Axis for years and I loved them. I switched to FMJs and they have performed great for me. I still shoot them on my Z7 Magnum. I am phasing them out now and I am shooting the Easton Injexion Deep Six FMJs and they are Awesome! They fly very true and they hit hard. The smaller diameter makes for better pass thru. Yes, they are more than $120 for a dozen, but worth every penny! I got mine for $179/dz.

Yep I loved the penetration of the FMJ's , but they kept bending.

Gold tip Kentics, put a hit insert in them and you have a moderately heavy small diameter arrow. Thick walled, tuff and all carbon so they won't bend... Make the even tuffer with a footing added to them.

I really think the with HITs they are about as good as you can get.

I went through an experimental phase with CX's and quite frankly wasn't impressed at all with their durability. I thought about going with a different arrow afterwards, but I went back to the tried and true Gold Tip Pro Hunters. I added an extra 50 grains to the inserts, which puts me at 450gr on the button and these things flat out kill. I also shoot Slick Trick fixed heads. No gimmicks, just one tough arrow and broadhead combination. I killed 4 deer this year with these and all were pass throughs and all were stuffed into the ground a good 10".

Same here, they are expensive as Sam says but they're awesome. Passthru from 53 yards on my first elk this year, they hit like a truck.

Give the Beman ICS Hunter Patriots a try. Couldn't hurt.

I switched to Axis about 10 years ago. I have tried 4-5 other brands since then. I always go back to Axis (with 50 or 75gr inserts).

    Tough
    Consistent spine
    Consistent weight
    Heavy
    Made in the USA.

Question: If you are having pass through issues why are you going to a lighter arrow?

I have been using Easton Bloodlines since 2012. I am a big fan. They won't get the weight you want unless you use a weighted insert or heavy head though.

I get your concern about bending but the reason your not getting pass throughs is the Kill Zone max. You have a shorter draw and even at 70lb 2.3" of blade is a lot to push through an animal. Probably tone down you broadhead a little and you'll be good.

I shoot fixed with a Gold Tip XT arrow, and I got a pass through on a doe @55 yards. My bow is @ 70# and my drawn length is 28 inches. I've pushed these "cheap" arrows really hard, and used the same arrow 3 times to shoot 3 different deer. I've put them into 4x4 pieces of wood and they haven't had any issues.
