I dont post often, but I wanted to get you guys take on this deer. A buddy of mine has been telling me of this real big deer his brother has trail camera pictures of. I didn't think much of it, but today he finally got his brother to text him a picture of it and he sent it to me.

When I looked at the picture I was blown away, the biggest trail camera picture iv ever seen of a deer. Definitely the biggest deer iv ever seen in my neck of the woods. Its almost unbelievable but he says he has tons of pictures of this deer spanning over 3 years.

He has only seen this deer once on the hoof, in early muzzleloader season 2 years ago at 400 yards. He says This deer is on his camera every year until season comes around, and he just disappears. He hunts in the city limits of a decent size city, I mean he kills some nice deer, but absolutely nothing compared to this buck. From this picture im just guessing this deer is a 5 year old? how much do you think it would score?

Im going to try and get some more pictures of it and see if he has any out of velvet. 10441078_1484203025194000_1046877107160829740_n.jpg

That to me looks like a pen raised deer. Good luck to your buddy getting him.

I get especially suspicious of giant deer stories that involve third hand accounts. Pics of giant pen raised deer are so easy to come by and these stories of "urban deer" come out every year that are sketchy.

I hope it's real and that they get him before he dies of old age and disappears forever.

That's like a 300 inch deer. Willing to bet not a wild deer.

300"+, just average for a pen raised farm animal.

This just isn't true. Take a look at the "Missouri Monarch", the "Hole In The Horn" buck, or the "Minnesota Monarch". These giants grew amazing racks like that without man's help.

True, and their heads matched the rack they were carrying around. They were huge deer all the way around, this one isn't.

Looks like a farm raised deer to me too. I would like to see what trail cam took this pic or is it a pic from a website.

I'd rather shoot a 130 typical free range than that farm raised thing.

2200 acres of high fence. For a $1000 finders fee (payable to me) plus another 15K you can harvest one just like it! :)

2200 acres? How am I going to chase him down on all that ground? Reduce that down to a 40 acre fenced area and I'm in! Can I use my rifle?

I'll put him on a leash for you. Bring a weapon of your choice. Knife, slingshot, air rife..... No tag required.
