How fast do ya'll think bucks hit there scraps after hard rain, and do they hit more often. Was on P.L. yesterday and found nice scrap with no sign of people by it. Can not hunt for a few days also expecting hard rain Saturday.

From my experience rain doesn't have much affect on their scrape patterns, unless its a raining so hard that they stay bedded down. But after that they'll resume their normal patterns, almost to the minute.

Scraps after a rain usually smell worse due to their dehydrated nature is now re-infused with moisture...compost piles smell most after a rain. :)

As for scrapes, best time to hunt them is after an extended rain...close to bedding area scrapes I want to be climbing the tree as the rain is stopping.
