first buck with a bow

    On saturday, I harvested my first buck with a bow, and I'm awful proud of him.

    He came in the food plot at about 7:00 here in IL, and cut right into the corn under my stand, too close to make a shot. He got to the opening, but wasn't broadside, so I made a noise, he turned and I shot, It was a bit behind and was clear I didn't hit lung, so I got down and waited about 6 hours. Turns out he only ran 50 yds, before laying down!
