Problem with video camera not working in the cold!!!

    anyone got any secrets about how to keep your camera working while its super cold out? Batteries aren't dying the camera itself says its to cold!!!

    I know guys that rubberband handwarmers to their cameras. I haven't had the issue yet, so I haven't gotten around to trying it out.

    Gradually acclimate the camera to the cold... move it from the house, to an unheated porch, and then to the outdoors.

    I havent had that issue! I keep mine locked up in vehicle so it dosent go through warm to cold transition!

    its has a 60gb internal memory

    Use the adhesive kind of Hothands to keep the battery warm. I also never leave batteries in my vehicle overnight. And lastly, drop a hand warmer in the cam case as well. Keeps the battery warm and help remove moisture.
