Dose anyone have an opinion on how old this buck is? I know it's not the best picture because you don't get a full view of his back and belly. I will say right off the bad that I don't know how old he is but he looks like an old warrior to me.

    This is a WI buck.

    Thanks

He looks old... 3 1/2 at least. With a swollen rutted up neck.

theres looks to be something wrong structurally with this deer. The way his neck swoops down and his chest behing his legs swoops up. Something looks wierd

I noticed that too, I chalked it up to him being very old. It looks like he has a camel neck.

I received this picture from a friend of mine, he asked me to age the deer and I thought I would see what the forum thinks.

He might be old, but I think there is more bad genetics involved here than anything. I would shoot him to get him out of the herd.

At least 3 1/2, if you have a full body shot the guesses may get interesting.

I agree, the full body shot would be nice. Hard to tell with what we can see.

I think he's leaving his scent in the photo, so he looks kinda weird.
