I'm not gonna sit here and say I'm the type to hate against naps, in truth a good nap is pretty awesome. Today I got out of the stand at 9ish for brunch, and back in at 10:30 for the rest of the day. Then at 11 I saw the back of my eye lids to about 12:30. But I was wondering what your guy's takes were on naps in the tree stand.

One of the benefits of hunting. Don't get naps at home.

Napping is good, waking yourself up from snoring too loudly, not so much....

I'll nod off a lot but always worried I'll start snoring and scare everything out of the woods.

If I could get my 6'8" frame comfortable and secure in a stand/chair I would be OUT. But up in a tree on my Lone Wolf stand there isn't enough room to get relaxed.

I nap daily. I have my entire adult life. Unless, I'm in a situation where napping simply isn't possible, I'm napping at least once per day. I nap immediately after coming home from work on most days. Only for an hour.

You should all try it. It refreshes you for the second half of the day. You can stay up later, you're in a better mood, and you still wake up the following morning refreshed and ready to go.

Yes, I nap in the stand. I can fall asleep anywhere. I'm one step away from being able to sleep standing up. They're not very long, but you know when they happen because you open your eyes and realize you were unconscious for at least a little while. I don't think there's ever been a time when I didn't fall asleep at least for a few minutes in a tree stand.

Never napped while hunting, then again I don't do morning hunts or sit all day.

Nothing like a good nap. My climber has a full floating seat and back rest. I have been known to lower the rear portion of the seat so that I can use the stand as a recliner.

A good breeze, a swaying tree, and the peacefulness of God's creation makes for good dreams.

I must admit. I'm known to take a good nap out in the treestand lol. A few yrs ago I had fallen out for awhile and was wakened up by another hunter coming into the same general area...

I would be afraid of falling out of the stand.

I've never napped in the stand/blind but I have been known to sneak back to my truck & recline the seat for a few Z's if the hunting is slow.

I've dozed off a few times, it happens usually early morning when I'm not seeing anything. No worries of falling out because of my harness. But I will say, the feeling of nodding forward is a good heart jumper to keep you awake. Did that once this year. Scared me...I'm usually not a nodder, lol.

Nice thing about a harness. Not afraid at all to take naps. If I'm in the stand there will be a nap.

Heights are not my favorite thing so I have never napped in the stand. I did get the Summit Goliath this year and it COULD be used to nap........
