Hoping for a morning recovery

    Made a shot on a nice Delaware buck this evening. I'm 99.99% sure I hit him. However I cant find any trace of blood, my arrow, or the buck. I saw him burl up and buck when it hit him. I dont think it made a complete pass through. I saw him run away from me and stop about 100 yards or so from where I shot him, but then I lost sight of him. I waited about 15 minutes before I got down to search for blood and my arrow, couldnt find either. I pray I recover him in the morning, it would be my first kill by bow.

    Hopefully you find him! I'm hunting Delaware as well and had an encounter with a buck tonight but it was after shooting light! If you need a hand tracking I may be able to help. You can't be far away in this state. Haha

    If you can't find blood and can't find the arrow your doing the right thing by looking in morning. Not much to go on. Good luck in your search in the morning
