Busted this nock with another arrow. Nock popped off and the only mark I can see on the arrow is this small blemish. Would you replace the nock and shoot it?

if you flex the arrow does it make a cracking noise? if not then shoot it. I don't know how easy it is to tell with a fmj but I guess I would shoot it anyway.

Yeah already flex checked it a bunch. If it was a carbon there is no way I would as it would be splintered. But being that the nock was in on impact it doesn't look like the carbon had room to move and deform

That looks like a easton fmj, don't bend it!!!! It's aluminum, you bend it to test it and kiss it goodbye. If that is a fmj I think it's fine if that is the worst just use it as a practice arrow and not a hunting arrow, if it is carbon than do not use it because of risk of it splintering.

I wouldn't chance it, its prolly fine due to being a fmj but ive seen some nasty things that have happened due to damaged arrows.

It's is an fmj, you can flex check them but just don't bend them too much

Had an arrow like that once when I went to shoot it the back end of the arrow shattered on release. No one was hurt but it scares the crap out of you. I wouldn't trust it but its your call.

I had the same thing also. I super glued it and practiced with it. Came time to have my arrows refletched, my bow tech would not fletch it. Probably best to throw it.
