I'll keep it short. We had a ton of pics of this deer and many other shooters on our lease in OH. We/I spent alot of time putting in food plots, hanging stands, staying out of sanctuaries etc. I had a great sit yesterday morning. Seen 3 bucks total: an 8 that'll go in the low teens, a deer we call crazy 6, and at 10:25 my deer slipped in on me. Walked by at 5 yards before I seen him, at 15 yards he stopped to smell where 3 coyotes had crossed earlier. I shot for the off side shoulder slightly quartered away at roughly 25 feet up. The arrow hit him hard, he growled at impact (that was a first for me). He ran 100ish yards and fell over dead just out of sight. My best buck to date, scored 139.25, and absolute stud for this NC boy. I was by myself 4.5 hours from home, didn't get any hero pics.
