When is the Rut in SE kansas?

    21 days till i head up to Sedan,KS for a week of hunting. When does the Rut normally start in that area? How do the deer react to calling and rattling up there? Down here in LA you can rattle till your blue in the face and the deer can care less lol. Just trying to get a game plan together before i head up and know all what i need to pack up.

    haha yea i knew that much...jw wondering a time frame? In LA/MS its normally around christmas into late january. Watch BHOD looks like the central states kick off earlier.

    Pre-rut activity is getting a little better right now. I've seen good deer the entire month of November in years past but my favorite time is about November 7-20 depending on when the colder weather gets here. It was mid 80's the entire weekend and really slowed things down.

    Thanks...So i should hit it pretty good the week i go the 16-22. Yea i'm hoping for colder weather here soon we have been in the 80's all hunting season and deer movement is horrible.

    Jeff knows lil to nothing about deer hunting.... do not listen to him. He does know how to catch fish out of his stocked, baited pond with a net but that is about it...... and he's ugly and is always taking pictures of his computer screen for unknown reasons... weird dude smh
