I clean missed my first buck with a rifle when I was 12 years old. Since then, I've shot a lot of doe for the freezer, but haven't had anything more than a spike come into range. He's not a giant by any means, but my son couldn't have smiled more with the scull cap mount I made for him to hang in his room. I think he was more excited about my first buck than I was. He came in 8 yards broadside, horning a couple trees, and ran about 75 yards. The Spitfire maxx continues to impress me. The exit on both deer this year have made tracking very easy. With two in the freezer early, it's time to focus on the big boys.
He's only 4, but he loves shooting his bow, and is already asking to go out in the woods with me. I have to set up the doghouse blind, and take him out this year
That is awesome. I have yet to shoot a buck with more than six points, but each one gets bigger, and I'm pumped as can be when that happens
That is awesome an congrats. Hope you get a big one too nothing like a father son moment in the woods good luck to you sir
