    Found this on archery talk. Anyone able to confirm or deny if this is in fact mathews new riser design? If so looks like a rip off of what hoyt and elite has in their risers.

    No idea, sure looks like a Mathews riser to me though. Still has the gridlock pattern.

    Who knows. But I don't like it, I don't like the completely straight riser, it doesn't seem strong or like it would shoot well, and it looks bad. Just my opinion.

    I'm with ya. Didn't like the gridlock and this just makes me want to puke (No offense to those mathews guys). And looks like it'll weigh like a hunk of rebar.

    Same here. Don't care for the straight risers but love the grid pattern. Very distinct look and if they change it I hope it's equally good looking.
    I'm a visual guy and that's what really drew me to Mathews.

    I agree. I love the grid pattern. It is one of the thing I love about Mathews bows.
