I live and hunt mostly in WI but I purchased a out of state tag for MN to hunt my uncles property in Northern MN. Went out friday night with no luck. Came back into the ground blind early sat morning. Sat for 10 min after shooting light and this spike buck comes in 4 ft from the window on the ground blind and sits there for 10 min without winding me. CRAZY. He starts to walk now straight out from me at about 8 yards so I reach for my bow. Now he looks back at the blind then trots off. I look to see where he is a he now is 30 yards perfect broadside. So I draw back quick and release. Shot was back he jumped the string. Clean pass through. Watched him go about 20 yard before I loose him in the woods then heard him crash. Let him sit for 45 min. Tracked him with great blood for about 40 yards and there he was. Dressed him out to find the shot was back but it cut up liver and parts of both lungs. Works for me. NAP killzone did its job. Not a monster. But for in a area with very little deer. I will take it. Meat in the freezer.
