Hey guys I need a good set of rattling antlers. cabelas sells legit horns for $100 a pair which is way too steep for my budget. I had a decent pair that finally gave out and broke last year. Does anyone have a set of sheds they'd part with, or leads on a cheaper option for a decent set? At one time I had found a deer farm that sold sets pretty cheaply. I'm not a fan of the rattling bags or any of the artificial solutions I have tried. Let me know if you have any ideas or solutions.

Before I started using the real thing I used the primos antlers. They worked fine and I rattled in a deer for myself as well as deer for others with them. I prefer antlers to a rattle bag because I think they are more versatile.

I've always used the bag of wood sticks but I have never rattled in bucks, is that the bag or is it because I was trying to rattle bucks in "blind"? Sorry didn't mean to thread jack

The flextone black rack is the best set you could ever have they have a life like synthetic bone internals that never lose their good sound. Also instead if one set it's like having 2 sets of antlers fighting. Doesn't get better than this. I switched from sheds to this and will never go back. Black rack is the way to go in my opinion.

Ive always wondered about the black rak. Ive seen countless informercials but never talked to anyone trustworthy that has actually used them. If there are any other real world reviews from the forum members I would love to hear them.

Check craigslist or ebay. Make sure it's legal to posses them in your state before buying them.

Sent Kendall's today. I will make more for the same deal I made Kendall. $40 plus shipping. I cut off the browtines and polish the beams smooth there. I cut the tips off all tines and round them so they are blunt. I also drill holes through the beams near the base so you can use a leather boot lace or para-cord or whatever you like to tie them together. These are solid, fresh sheds. Send me a PM if interested.

I will be using the black rack for the first time this weekend. So far just messing around with it in my garage it seems pretty good my only complaint is if you aren't paying attention to how your holding it your can crack your knuckles pretty good.

I have all sizes. The set I use is a solid 140's deer. I have rattled them in with much smaller sets. The sets I have been sending out are probably around 120's or better 8 points with decent mass.

I love my Pack Rack. Dead quiet in the pack, compact and sounds very good. I just used mine to rattle in and kill my buck yesterday.

I've used a rattle bag for a few years with decent luck. Ease of carriage quietly is a big thing with most of my sets.

I use a Primos Rattle Bag. Works well for me and is less movement than crashing antlers in the stand.
