    Help:
My bow is shooting slightly to the left less than an 1 1/2". Should I sight it in again deal with all that stress. Or just shoot to the right?

What stress is there to sighting in your bow? Adjust your pin slightly, and take some shots. Adjust again if necessary.

However 1.5" is not off very far. I assume its consistent. Are you canting your bow when you shoot?

I would personally take the time to adjust it just to know that i am dead on and be more confident when taking the shot.

shooting your bow should be fun. A twist or two with your allen wrench and you are set. Set it in and go kill one!

    Uhm... site it in...

I'd much rather deal with the "stress" of siting your bow correctly, than the stress of a non leathal hit on a deer.

Move the entire sight slightly to the left and shoot until you are back on the mark. Stress free.

I watched a video the other day on broadhead tuning, maybe you need that? It's on youtube with some really corny acting, but was pretty informative.

I sight in with my broadheads and practice with them (practice set). I never rely on a bow tuned on field points only. My broadheads and rig never shoots exactly with field points. I set for my broad heads and walk back to make sure I also have consistency (if something is wrong you won't have consistency). Paper tune is fine and no fletching contact and everything else is in order I simply sight in to broadheads and hunt knowing where my arrows will hit at any yardage. Archery+guessing= big mistake.

Agreed. I was "off" the other day, meaning my practice arrows were all slightly to the right inside a six inch circle or so at 40 yards and my wife was like, what's the big deal? Dead deer, right, if it was a deer and not a target? I responded that yes, theoretically, those would be clean shots, but I want to be as on target as possible. All of them hitting in the middle of the circle. So if I do drop my arm or drift a little one way or the other that I have some room for error for a clean shot. Just a few twists with the allen wrench and I was OK again. Was more concerned with if I was changing my anchoring point or something else was off but all seems good again.

At what distance? If you're off that far at 70 yards that's one thing. If you're off that far at 15 that's another. Assuming it's off at less than 30 yards I would shoot it again to make sure it wan't you instead of the bow. If you are still shooting the same place, make the adjustment. It should just take a few minutes. Good luck.

I think the question is why would you not adjust the site? It so easy and simple to do. 5 minutes tops and you would be done.
For me, hunting with a site that I know isn't hitting where I want would be WAY more stressful.

Good deal. Now the only stress you'll have to deal with is keeping your shtuff together when a huge buck walks in front of you!!

Sighting a bow in shouldn't be considered difficult at all, just chasing your arrow with the movements. 1 1/2" is a minute adjustment. Before you do that though it may be best to review your form and like others have said, are you canting your bow? Do you have a bow level on your sight and do you peek at it EVERY time you draw as you are settling in your sight?
