Well I'm looking to get a new tree stand or two and I'm wonder what the best combo of sticks and stands would be. I'm looking for something that is light and portable but still will be a great stand for the all day sits.

Love my LW sticks. I had them with the LW assault. I didn't like the assault too much only because I felt the platform was pretty small. I just ordered a LW alpha which has a bigger platform. Other than the size of the assault I can't say anything bad about the product.

Definitely Lone Wolf! I have a few Alpha's and a couple Assaults and a climber and numerous LW Sticks. The best stands and sticks by far. Exceptionally quiet and comfortable.

It all depends on what you are looking for IMO. If you want portability then the suggestions above would fit the bill. If you are looking to leave stands in place and looking for comfort then you could consider any kind with a sling style seat, whether it's a hang-on with sticks or even a ladder stand.

Well if your the budget hunter like myself go to sportsman's guide and get the climbing stick and tree stand combo it comes with a 20' stick and a 18.5''x25'' stand for $70, if you can afford it I would get the big game bravada and aerolite climbing sticks.

How many lone wolf sticks get you in the 20 foot range?

I would say go LW alpha and sticks. If budget is tight, then I would say get XOP air raid and XOP sticks (basically same stand, but not US made). Or look around on craigslist for LW stands. I use 4 and get up to probably around 16 feet. I only usually have maybe a foot in between each of the sticks too. I could probably stretch that another 2 feet just by spreading the sticks out a bit and stepping up into my stand. If you add one webbing step at the bottom (look at youtube for stick mods), you could get up to 20' with 4 most likely.

I picked up the XOP & sticks & it was about $100 cheaper the the comparable LW set up.

Long wolf ,never had any problems with stand or sticks and they are made to stack together to carry on your back.

If looking into Lone Wolf, I would buy the membership bowhunter club on Eders.com and Bowhuntingoutlet.com. Its only 25 bucks, but you get massive deals on Lone Wolf products. To the point where XOP and Lone Wolf are almost the same price for better quality US Made products. aka Lone Wolf. Honestly I would go with Lone Wolf. I hunt on a budget also. But nothing beats the quality of Lone Wolf
