Is it to early to be grunting and using deer calls?

Will using a grunter scare away does?

I honestly dont think does pay to much attention to grunts around early season. I use an all in one flextone an grunted at a doe yesterday she kept going same thing with a mature doe day before but she didnt pay it any attention. Sure enough when I let out some soft fawn distress calls she was on it big time so thats my recent experience.

Depends where you are really. You should be able to grunt softly now I would imagine... I wouldnt go dominant rutting buck grunts tho.

Usually starting around October 15ish I'll use the grunt call. Getting more aggressive the closer to November. I've called a good number of bucks in mid 20's of October

If your hearing grunts by all means grunt, same goes for rattling. That's the only thing that's worked for me, grunted in my first deer last year

I'm in Texas and grunted in a buck yesterday evening. I would imagine up north would be becoming prime time around.
