Everyone has a blade they swears by their own blades..I have yet to use any broadheads in the field but I am currently equipped with 100 grain Muzzy MX-3. A buddy recommended them and they were the most economical at the time. I hunt in FL so I was told I can take down any animal in my state with these. I have had my eye on Flying Arrow Archery's Toxic 100 grain broadhead. Anyone use them before? They look like they would leave a devastating wound.
Currently using 100g rage hd, no complaints. I used to use 100g Magnus stingers 4 blade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Like stated, Muzzy is a great head and been around for many years. I shoot Solid Broadheads and so far I am loving them! They fly great and the quality is amazing! Check them out, they are bad a**! The Worlds Sharpest Broadheads | Solid Broadhead Company
I shoot NAP Hellrazors...fantastic head. I have never, ever, broken a blade on one and that's saying something considering the number of deer shoulders I've shot through.
Had been using the G5 T3 broadheads with good results but switched to the G5 Striker heads this year just to try out a fixed blade head ! Have not drawn blood with them yet but im sure they will get the job done just fine !
Thunderheads and Muzzy's are both top notch heads. I'm currently shooting Steelforce Phathead SOB's.....they're the best of both worlds! http://www.amazon.com/Steel-Force-38571-SteelForce-Broadhead/dp/B003JXUXW0
G5 Montec here as well...been using them for 3 seasons now with great results. Also like the NAP Thunderhead.
G5 striker 125gr, never lost a deer after shooting them. Opened up season in Mass today with 2 nice does. Great blood trails. Both of them only made 20 yards run.
Shot Rage for years, and have a couple on arrows yet, but last year I tried the Toxics and had terrible luck with them. This year, I tried some QAD Exodus after researching them, and I couldn't be happier, so far. I am quite certain that once my Rage are all gone, the Exodus are all I will shoot
