Hey ya'll. Got some questions. I have been blessed to be able to Hunt on base this year in Quantico Virgina. However, due to my job I hadn't been able to scout at all before the season started. I have been skunked 4/5 times I've been hunting so far. I am doing the normal, find food, find water, find safety but I am continually striking out. What piece of the pie am I missing?

    War Eagle.

I always like to look for travel corridors when I go into a place blind. Really look for sign, be it tracks, poop, beds, and for bucks look for rub/scrape lines and hunt them right after a rain or go buy a cheap camera and hang on the scrapes to see what is hitting it. Scouting doesn't end when the season begins, I'm always looking for new trails and areas that are being used.
