I found a spot on the 200 acres that I got permission to hunt. It seems like a good spot, it has a rub and scrape under the same tree and numerous small rubs within 50 yards of it. Its in a small patch of woods that meets a corn field. I think I may set up near this area.

Sounds promising. Sounds like you've found his bedding area possibly, if not a travel route. Might be a young one getting antsy or a brute.

    Good luck either way.

Thanks. I'm just excited to finally see some buck sign. I could care less if its a spike lol I'm just glad I'm getting closer to where they are. This property is mainly corn fields and tree lines but there's this one small patch of woods. I think I'm going to set up on the edge of it.

I just want to see a buck lol I'm tired of just does. But I'll only take one that I feel is a shooter, and normally I only shoot at a 3.5 year old and up with at least 8pts. But if I get buck fever who knows. I plan on going out tomorrow morning and placing a camera in that area to see what comes through.

Thanks. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I set my climber on a tree and put my camera up today. The rub where the scrape is was hit again last night or this morning. There were fresh tree shavings and then fresh poop.
