Got my #1 hitlister 1 week after my doe in the same stand! (Hero shots added!!)

Well this hunt got my heart going. I had the 10 point that I had on camera all summer finally show during daylight. He came in textbook just like I patterned him, made a big scrape and tore up the licking branch and then was walking right down the path to my shooting lane. He got about 3 steps from it and stopped. I think he must have smelled the new route I used to go in to freshen the mock scrape I have. He did a complete 180 but just casually walked away. He took just a slightly different path out and I had a tiny shooting lane at 25 yards. He was about 10 yards from where I shot my doe and he died about 15 feet from where she did. Rage still has not failed me with big holes and great blood trails. Super happy with this season and can't wait to get back out tomorrow.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Do you put the licking branch right above the scrape?

OK because I have bucks at night and was thinking of making a mock scrape with a licking branch. what scent should I use for the scrape and licking branch?
