Soaking Antlers

    What is the point of soaking antlers that you are using for rattling and what do u soak them in and how long?

    I don't do this but I've heard of soaking them in water to make them sound more lifelike. I'm not sure on how long they soak them though, it's just something I've heard of people doing.

    it is supposed to give them a better sound especially if they are dried out. But if you soak your antlers do not take them out on a day with freezing temps because they will shatter.
