I thought I'd post a few pics as well. This is the second one for the season. Shot her with my Hoyt Faktor 30 Beman ICS Hunter Pro Arrows, and Swhacker 100gr. 2" Broadheads. She ran about 20 yards and piled up. Killed her on my property. I've got some good bucks this year, just haven't seen but one of them and couldn't get a shot on him. Maybe soon. Hope everyone else is having a good season.

Wow that's a late season. Is AL rut in full swing like Florida? I've been on 8 hints and still to shoot a deer. But I've passed in a few small bucks already.

No, our rut is very late... December/January in Central Alabama. Just now seeing a few rubs.

I find it crazy that two states so close would have such different rut times.

I am less than a half mile into the south zone. I crossed the river into Autauga County and went to some Corp of Engineers land.

Don't forget to switch that PSE sticker to a Hoyt sticker on the back of your truck :)
