Here's a sneak peak. Fastest bow is hoyt history. If they make an aluminum model I'll be owning one.[IMG]

    "Carbon" Widowmaker...

I can't wait to see what this is all about. I may be upgrading my bow within two years for the first time ever depending on what this is and how it hits me.

I know it says carbon but every year they make an aluminum with the exact same specs as the carbons. Should be a great bow. I'm expecting it to be around a 350 IBO and hopefully they don't go below 6 on the brace.

Sure, I knew what you meant...just that on the face of it, it sounded funny and had to give you a hard time over it.
I can't wait to see it and the specs, I bet they have the first 450 fps ibo compound. Carbon riser with a 7.5 bh and Co2 assisted draw.

Yeah, I have heard bigger cams for more speed and updated limb pockets.

Should be on their site the 17th from what I was told. Not sure though. I love my Faktor 30 and the Z5 cams. Will have to really impress to buy another bow next year.

Tall order for me to justify after getting a Spyder in '13 and a Carbon Spyder this year. Of course, I tell my wife I will shoot my new bow until I fill a tag with it. Well, I did get my elk this year...:nana:

I'm excited to see this thing. I'm a huge fan of the newer Hoyts and I love Elite. I'll be getting a new one before next hunting season !

Just my opinion, I sure hope they don't go with a Binary cam system. I have nothing against them. Just think the cam-n-half is so much easier to tune. I don't care about more speed. The 332 of my Faktor 30 does just fine. If I wanted more speed I'd buy another PSE...lol. Maybe the guys on Facebook are wrong about the Binary cams. If not, Guess I'll guess when I buy another one around May I'll try to fine a Carbon Spyder 30 if there is any left.

Hmmm... I guess all the deer I have killed with a 220 fps arrow will suddenly come back to life.

I have heard from a reputable source they are staying with the cam and a half. I would leave to if they went with a binary. Probably shoot a mathews solocam. Those floating yokes on the chills are not my favorite either. And elite bows with no yokes are annoying to bareshaft.

I doubt it, nor will the tens of thousands killed with recurves, crossbows, spears or the ones ran over a cliff or the ones killed with aluminum arrows, wooden arrows or flint heads.

They're not going to a binary, pretty confident in that and even though I am on a shop rep deal with hoyt, I would jump ship as well if they did that. I would probably go to bear archery.

Bear has come a long way and they would definitely catch my eye if I went away from hoyt. But I just put new strings in my faktor so she is here to stay. Love this bow so much. Even when I get a 2015 this bow is staying.[IMG][IMG]

My apology fellas; I was joking... but in retrospect, maybe should have kept that one to myself. No offense intended.

Is there any way to dislike my own post?
