When in your treestand do stand or sit during your hunts? Just wondering how you guys are hunting?
I prefer standing cause gives me more options if deer surprises me by walking in behind or approaching before I recognize them
I do practice shooting from sitting position incase I would have to shoot sitting down

I do a lot of both, but prefer to stand. When I see a deer approaching, I usually stand to be more flexible with my shots....but also prefer the decrease in movement by sitting still.

combo of both, start out sitting if early morning waiting for complete light, but find myself standing, leaning against the tree etc more then sitting, normally only sit when I'm eating or my lower back cramps up some....I'm not really fond of shooting from a sitting position either thus the reason for standing more, and my selfies look better from a standing position lol

I sit...I already know where the deer will be coming from and what direction they will travel. I've only shot one deer while standing and shot a bunch while sitting.

    I probably sit 2/3 of the time and stand 1/3. Possibly 3/4 & 1/4.

I sit the whole time, and shoot from the sitting position. One time I had deer on the wrong side of me where I couldn't get a shot, otherwise they tend to follow the script and come in on my shooting side.

I do a mix of both. I will sit for a while then stand to watch behind me for a bit to break up the time. If its a evening hunt I stand and lean against the tree the last 30-45 minutes of the hunt because thats the magic hour and you never know what is going to come out so I want to be ready.

But that being said when I stand my head and body movements are even slower then when I sit because your giving deer a larger target to pick off.

I sit until I see deer coming. Ive never shot sitting down as thats just how I was taught. However yesterday I sat down after a 5 point bedded nearby after feeding early in the afternoon. I was hoping to use his head to tell when deer were coming. That didnt work. I had to sit still while 7 does and a spike came in and fed the rest of the evening because I couldnt stand up. I need to start practicing sitting down.

I like to do all day sits during the rut. I sit as much as possible, then stand when I need to. I have to watch what im doing, I start moving around to much as I start to get uncomfortable.

Just depends. I do both. You can bet your last dollar I am on my feet for the first 1-2 hours in the morning and the last 1-2 in the evening.

I sit until there is activity. The exception would be after long sits, I will stand the last 1/2hr or so. Ive never shot sitting down.

I stand up when it's time I have had a few deer where I could not get stood up so I shot them from a sitting position

This. I have practiced sitting down and shooting - but I prefer to stand up when I see deer. I will also stand up if I start to get chilled.

I will sit until the last 45 minutes of light and then stand up and get my bow ready... I also stand if I see a deer, doesn't matter the distance as I know they could come my way any time.

I try to sit as long as possible and hopefully have the opportunity to stand if a deer is coming. I find that I hold more still if I am sitting down rather than standing. The buck I got last week came in so fast and so close that I had to grab my bow and shoot from a seated position. Not ideal, but it worked out.

I sit and if my legs need stretched I stand up for a bit and then sit back down. I practice shooting both sitting and standing so I can make the shot either way.

I do both. Just depends on how I feel. I typically stand the moment I see deer if I can get away with it, so I can get into position for any shot. However, if I have a deer coming in and I know I can get a shot sitting down, I will stay seated because I know my legs are more stable when seated (buck fever!) which means my shot is more stable when I'm seated.
