Last year was Sat-Monday I believe.

I will be leaving the state and letting the youngsters have the woods. I really wish they would push it back to later in October so the kids could have a better chance to see more pre rut activity and get to rattle and grunt. While I am sure some use those tools now its just not the same as later in the month

    Season is actually Sat-Mon (11th - 13th).
I'll have my orange on sitting next to my 10yr old son...he'll be first on the property this season...I'm super pumped, hope to hear the 20 gauge bark Sat morning...

I'm helping with a youth organization that takes kids hunting this weekend. We've been doing this for about 4 years now. No kid is without an adult, and nobody leaves the ground without being attached to a lifeline. Hoping for another great hunt this weekend. They will be hunting morning and evening Saturday, and Sunday morning. I should finally get to do a little hunting Sunday evening. Those that pray, please keep the youth in your prayers for this weekend. Thanks

Ugh, was thinking today was the 10th for some reason. Corrected original post.

So safe tomorrow, but need it Monday. I'll only get to sit Sunday weather permitting.

Thanks for the clarification and apologize for the confusion
