Which of the 2 scenarios is your favorite way to get your deer?

    1. You make what you are pretty sure is an awesome shot but you do not see the deer go down. You wait 30 minutes to check the hit site and see lots of pink bubbly blood and the arrow is coated with it as well. You even thought you heard it crash 10 seconds after the shot. You take up trail which is easy to follow and there is your deer, not 100 yards from where you shot it. Dead deer.

    2. You shoot and watch it run and then go down ...dead deer

Both have their place and please do not add anything to this scenario ...no cameras..no witnesses ..just you hunting ... some of you prolly can't remember when it was that way ;)

I hate tracking because I have a very difficult time seeing blood on the ground. (because I'm old). So I'd prefer he laid down and died directly under my stand. That would be very convenient.

Drop in sight, unless they run to the truck and die there.

I LOVE tracking blood trails and having your heart skip a beat when you look up and see that wall of antlers and white belly....thats right up there with the rush for me!!!

I'd like the first scenario if the deer ran and died in my truck bed. It'd be kinda convenient.

That being said, deer dead in sight are the best. There is no guess work to how your shot truly was. Dead in sight trumps all.

When you get my age, you don't want your heart skipping "any" beats. I need everyone thank you very much. :)

I would love to see him drop with in sight, but tracking it is fun to walk up on that big bruiser

I like that adrenaline rush when you see the deer lying there...remember, the shot felt great, the blood trail is awesome and you think you heard it go down ...something about walking up to that deer ...
