I won a cow elk hunt... follow up

    IMG_2532.jpg Here's how the cow elk hunt turned out. It was draining on my son to know the date was approaching and that he had one shot to make it count. And make it count he did!! He took a 40 yard shot and hit her right in the vitals, then she ran 50 yards and piled up and died. I was so nervous for him I screwed of the video and didn't get anything(PISSED AT MYSELF)!! But I couldn't be more proud of him. So now at the ripe old age of 15 he has killed a 6 point buck, a doe and now a cow elk with hid bow.

    Nice. I never get tired of elk hunting even after shooting dozens of cows, it's still fun!
