How many guys have the opportunity this season to potentially slide an arrow through their target buck AND also collect a $175k bounty on one of the FBI's 10 most wanted? Season opens Saturday in NEPA, but the place is still crawling with State Troopers and FBI agents, along with all sorts of armored vehicles, dogs, helicopters, etc.

I'm not convinced this guy is even still in the area, but i probably won't be venturing nearly as deep into the woods this year. hope these guys kick some nice bucks my way.

I am not sure I would make the trip. Not out of fear just to avoid the hassle

This has been on our news since it happened, too. I heard this morning that people have reportedly seen him on different accounts. I just love how the news keeps saying "Police are closing in on him"...how so? It's been two weeks. This guy could be anywhere. I do believe he may be in the area because he's going to kill more officers before this is said and done. That's what he wanted to do. I don't think he is out to harm anyone else besides law enforcement.

If it were for me I wouldn't go in the woods near there, but I'm a ways away. But if I were to run across him - I wouldn't know what to do other than hope he doesn't kill me! I'm surprised they're allowing hunters in the woods around there.

HMMM? Wearing orange makes you an easy target for the bad guy if he so chooses. Not wearing orange makes you at least a target of curiosity for any LEO's out there. If you gotta hunt there, BE CAREFUL!!!

Not in my area, but I certainly can't wait until justice is served. Would be nice if it's served in the woods.

I'll be hunting my own property, which is just outside the 5 square mile search area. hasn't really been any activity in the woods near me, but still creepy knowing that guy is out there somewhere with a scoped 308.

Too close for comfort, IMO. Be safe. You just never know with people anymore.

I will be hunting Monroe county however, it's not in the search area. Might be 15 or more miles away. It will be in the back of my mine as I walk in, in the dark.

There goes my Saturday plans... I'm in Paradise Twp. What a bummer, but at least it's the early season.

I saw the article and thought of you and pick...I'd say I have land you could hunt - but unfortunately I'm a ways away and not getting a lot on camera!

Yeah, lol...for sure. But better safe than sorry. Especially since they're reporting he is burying bombs in the woods.
